the Outer Planes

Great wheel map

The Abyss (Chaotic Evil): a place of infinite size and infinite hells, run by demons (helloooo Orcus!)

Acheron (Lawful Neutral): an eternal battlefield, where law and militarism are taken to it’s logical extreme.

Arborea (Chaotic Good): A beautiful realm dedicated to the elven pantheon.

Arcadia (Lawful Neutral): A land of harmony, whether you like it or not.

Baator (Lawful Evil): A realm of measured evil, one that recognizes that senseless violence is worse than purposeful violence.

The Beastlands (Neutral Good): A land where animals are the dominant species, and where the circle of life is exemplified.

Bytopia (Neutral Good): A paradise for both hard-working folk and adventurers alike, with both civilized and savage halves.

Carceri (Neutral Evil): The plane of jails, liars, and betrayal. Trust no one on this plane, especially your own eyes.

Elysium (Neutral Good): A land so peaceful and pleasant, you may find yourself unable to leave.

Gehenna (Neutral Evil): The plane of physical despair; its uneven surfaces, dust, and rockslides makes traveling hazardous.

The Gray Waste (Neutral Evil): The plane of mental despair; if the various plagues and diseases don’t get you, apathy will.

Limbo (Chaotic Neutral): A realm of absolute chaos, where things that are what they seem cannot last, and where imagination can be reality.

Mechanus (Lawful Neutral): The realm of ultimate order, where everything has its place, be it good or evil.

Mount Celestia (Lawful Good): The heavenly realm, where evil may visit, but only those who learn from the plane can climb.

The Outlands (True Neutral): The gateway to the outer planes, the Outlands is the ultimate travel hub, as well as one of the planes’ greatest mysteries.

Pandemonium (Chaotic Neutral): A realm of madness, be it the wind, the gravity, or the ever shrinking spaces that its inhabitants live within.

Ysgard (Chaotic Neutral): The plane where war is fought for the sake of battle, without the repercussions of true death.
